There used to be a Website called jazzjamcafe.com that had a calendar of open jam sessions in the Bay Area. If I remember right there were also notes on the type of session, e.g. open mic, vocalists welcome, etc... I thought it was a great idea, but it seems to have gone offline. I wonder if there's another such calendar with listings of sessions where a musician can sit in...I've looked and haven't been able to find anything. Any ideas?
