    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;There used to be a Website called jazzjamcafe.com that had a calendar of open jam sessions in the Bay Area. If I remember right there were also notes on the type of session, e.g. open mic, vocalists welcome, etc... I thought it was a great idea, but it seems to have gone offline. I wonder if there's another such calendar with listings of sessions where a musician can sit in...I've looked and haven't been able to find anything.  Any ideas?&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;i'm in town for a few days, and am looking for somebody with some drums that need to be played.  i'm here through sat. aug 4.  I'll be back around the week of aug 20.  myself:  i've  been playing high energy psychedelic rock in the midwest for 13 years or so.. i've sat in with Fareed Haque group, Global Funk and Umphrey's McGee (had last audition spot before they announced Kris got it)..  Mike Gordon himself jammed with my band at my house in Lawrence, KS a couple years ago when on tour with Leo.   i've shared the stage with galactic, jazz mandolin project, Little feat, marshall tucker, devo, sugarray (yep), sts9, jerryband.. anyway, if anybody wants to do a little jamming, and has some drums setup that i could play, let me know.  thx  -Matt&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;guitarist singer songwriter looking for musicians to play with.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;rented some time in a practice room to be able to meet up and play with folks without having to play over drink orders.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;i play guitar, sing, and do a little bit of beat-making on my laptop. want to meet and play with musicians, singers, songwriters, noise makers working towards informal recording and performances. have originals and practice some covers. influences: pink floyd meets dj shadow.

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Hello. Our band PIE is looking for an "in the pocket" drummer who can rehearse one night a week at our AMAZING space (very large) in Novato. I guess the model would be Alan Hertz, because he plays so incredibly well in all kinds of time signatures and knows how to lay back, too... We play in the styles of Kimock, SCI, Buddy &amp;amp; Julie Miller, GD, Neil, Bloomfield, etc. If you know of someone, please pass this on. Thanks, and enjoy the music!&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Hey all... I'm playing around with some web site stuff and I was thinking of putting together a website that catered to the SFBay area musicians and lets them post their event info, venue etc....
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Sort of like a free, non-commerical ticketmaster website. Would you all be interested in it? 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I'm trying to guage how much energy I should put into this - currently this is for my own fun - and its almost fully working just needs some good looking images on the site.
